This seminar provides the fundamentals for implementing BQ-9000, the voluntary quality management system requirements for biodiesel producers and marketers. BQ-9000 couples the foundation of universally accepted quality management systems with the product specification ASTM D6751.

Implementing a certified quality system takes preparation and commitment. This includes understanding the details of the requirements, the scope of work required to implement these requirements, and the most efficient approaches to managing the registration project. This training session has been developed to facilitate the understanding of the BQ-9000 Quality Management Program.

The current revisions of the BQ-9000 quality management standards for Producers, Marketers and Laboratories require annual internal audits of your BQ-9000 quality management system - either to achieve or maintain your registration. Effective Internal Auditing will meet that requirement and it will be a significant driving force in the overall effectiveness and improvement processes of your Quality Management System.
